From Taipei street corners to Phnom Penh
Louisa Coffee is Taiwan's largest fresh-coffee chain — a brand that grew from a single street-side takeaway shop into more than 500 stores, and carried that playbook to Cambodia. The Phnom Penh outlets brew the same promise as the originals: freshly ground coffee, full breakfast plates and quick, friendly service whether the guest stays or takes away.
The challenge: two rhythms at one counter
A Louisa café lives in two rhythms at once. The morning rush is a takeaway sprint — commuters order, pay and leave in under two minutes. By mid-morning the room turns into laptops and long breakfasts, and orders arrive table by table while the takeaway queue keeps forming. Baristas were juggling dine-in sequences, takeaway cups, member prices and add-ons, and every second lost at the till was a customer walking to the next café.
How T.O keeps the flow moving
Every counter now runs T.O Restaurant POS, with the menu built for speed: sizes, sugar levels and add-ons are one tap each, and upsell prompts suggest the pastry or the upsize at exactly the right moment. The loyalty module attaches to a phone number, so regulars collect points on every cup without carrying a card. Dine-in orders route straight to the bar and kitchen screens, so espresso shots and breakfast plates finish together instead of waiting on a shouted ticket.
The results on the floor
Average café ticket sits at about 60 seconds, even through the breakfast peak. Regulars redeem points without asking, cashiers upsell with confidence because the screen does the suggesting, and the owner reads sales by outlet, by hour and by product in one dashboard — the same discipline that grew the brand past 500 stores in Taiwan.
What comes next
Every new Louisa outlet in Phnom Penh opens on the same template: sync the menu, train the team in a single shift, go live. Growth now adds stores to the dashboard — not complexity to the counter.
