UCare keeps 28 pharmacies stocked, compliant and in step

Cambodia's first international-standard pharmacy chain

UCare Pharmacy opened in 2004, founded by Pascal Catry and Cambodian partners with a clear ambition: pharmacy service in Cambodia that meets international standards. Two decades later it is the country's first and largest pharmacy-and-beauty chain — 28 stores, close to 90 certified pharmacists on duty, and a positioning that spans health, wellness and beauty, from prescription medicines to skincare and supplements.

The challenge: 28 shelves, one standard

A pharmacy lives or dies by details most retailers never face: batch numbers, expiry dates, prescription rules and a product mix that changes weekly. Across 28 stores, one expired box on one shelf is a compliance incident; one stock-out of a running medicine sends a customer to a competitor; and every branch's daily takings must roll up into accounts the founders can actually trust.

How T.O keeps the shelves honest

Every counter runs T.O Pharmacy POS, which sells by batch and blocks items past their expiry date at the till. T.O Inventory tracks stock across the whole network — central purchasing raises supplier orders, inter-branch transfers keep fast- and slow-moving stores balanced, and expiry alerts surface aging batches weeks before they become write-offs. T.O Accounting consolidates daily sales from all 28 stores into one set of books, split by branch, category and pharmacist shift.

The results

Store 27 opened in April 2025 and was selling on the same system within days. Head office reads live sales from every branch, expiry surprises are caught early instead of discovered at stock-take, and monthly consolidation no longer waits on 28 separate spreadsheets.

UCare's next counters — including its Techo International Airport store, the first pharmacy chain signed into the new airport, and a Koh Pich branch — plug into the same backbone. New stores now add reach, not risk.
